PPTF
Membership Ratifies Amendments to Foundation's By-Laws
During the recently concluded
election meeting, the general membership of the Philippine Printing Technical Foundation (PPTF) ratified several
proposed amendments to its by-laws.
The basic changes resulting from the ratified amendments are as
follows:
The President may now appoint the chairmanship of working
committees from within the bona fide members of the foundation, subject to the approval of the board. Under the old

reasons.
The designation of 1st Vice President has been changed to Vice President for
Internal Affairs. The committees under his/her supervision are Membership Affairs, Research, Ways and Means and
Publication
The designation of 2nd Vice President has been changed to Vice
President for External Affairs. The committees under his/her supervision are Human Resource Development, Technical
Assistance, Business Assistance to Members and Special Projects.
The position of Honorary Chairman shall be replaced by a Council
of Presidents comprising five immediately preceding presidents who shall be invited to participate in the
deliberations in every board meetings without having the power to vote.
